(1) If found to have committed an offense punishable under this Act, the seized vehicle, 8 quadrupeds and all other goods will be confiscated.
(2) According to the decision of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, the vehicles confiscated according to sub-section (1) may be used by the Government of Nepal.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section -(1), the means of transport shall not be confiscated if it is found that the person committing the offense has used the means of transport without the permission of the owner. Drivers who use such means of transport will be fined up to fifty thousand rupees or imprisoned for up to three months or both, depending on the nature of the offence.
